Presenting vs. Persuading

I became a nurse because I wanted to help people. Over the years, my experiences in healthcare, personal growth, and leadership have taught me that helping others is about much more than giving advice or providing answers.

It is about asking questions, listening, and empowering people to discover their own truth.

My journey has challenged me to think critically, question conventional wisdom, and remain open to new possibilities. I've learned that growth often begins with the courage to ask, "What if there is another way?"

Through Toastmasters, I've also discovered the power of communication. Being an effective speaker isn't simply about having something important to say. It's about creating a connection that allows others to feel heard, think differently, and find their own voice.

To me, true influence isn't about convincing someone against their will. It's about inspiring curiosity and empowering people to make their own discoveries.

As healthcare continues to evolve through technology and innovation, I believe one thing will always remain essential: human connection. Technology can provide information, but compassion, trust, empathy, and understanding are what truly connect us.

My goal is to help people move from fearful to fearless—to become curious, confident, and willing to explore new possibilities for their lives and well-being.

I don't want to tell people what to believe.

I want to help them discover what they believe for themselves.
