ToastMasters President's Distinguished
By Michelle Peticolas
What separates a good Toastmasters club from a great one?
The answer is President’s Distinguished—the highest recognition in the Distinguished Club Program (DCP). It’s not just a title; it’s a measure of a club’s health, growth, and consistency.
To earn it, clubs must succeed in two key areas:
1. Education
Members need to actively give speeches and complete levels. Progress—especially through Level 1 and Level 2—shows that the club is truly helping people grow.
2. Membership
Clubs naturally lose members over time, so bringing in new ones is essential. A strong club is always welcoming guests and building its community.
Where We Are
Our club is close to President’s Distinguished again. Most goals are complete—we just need a couple more Level 2 speeches and a few new members to get there.
Why It Matters
This recognition signals that a club is strong, supportive, and worth joining—especially important in today’s hybrid and post-COVID environment.
How You Can Help
Invite a guest. Give your next speech. Step up when needed.
Because great clubs aren’t accidental—they’re built together.
